  10.     I just wonder how much of the problems in the UK market could be
  11.  chalked up to start up problems. I mean it hasn't been a year since
  12.  Escom bought the Amiga. These guys at AT arent super men! They have
  13.  done a minor miracle just getting the Amiga back into production.
  14.     The rumbelo' deal was an Escom deal seperate from the Amiga deal,
  15.  it's quite possible there isn't the best communication between the
  16.  AT and Escom opperation. That can be fixed. Why don't you gather some
  17.  of your Amiga friends togeather, do a nice letter up offering to
  18.  come to any Escom store and help familiarize the staff with the Amiga,
  19.  and set up a display. Send the letter out to all the Escom stores and
  20.  see what the responce is. Maybe it would be better not to expect to
  21.  much from AT/Escom, but to go out and do something on your own initiative
  22.  and let AT/Escom catch up to you. I'm going to do a little marketing of
  23.  the Amiga on my own on this side of the pond. Some recent comments by
  24.  Zipperware to our user group president, made me realize that a little
  25.  personal marketing might not be all that expensive or dificult. A little
  26.  information about the Amiga and where it can be bought might be quite
  27.  helpful.
